Our “for sale by owner” clients typically hire us because they want a completely unbiased and independent value determination prior to deciding exactly how they want to offer the home for sale. Realtors can provide you with a CMA, but their estimates of value will not have the same depth of research or extent of information that a Certified Residential Appraiser will provide in an appraisal report.
